Wants to visit India’s most photographed royal city Jaipur into a short trip? Plan your trip from landing in Delhi in Indira Gandhi National Airport. The royal city is closer than most first-time visitors expect, and it packs more history, colour, and flavour into three days than cities twice its size. At Culture Driver India, we specialize in Jaipur tours from Delhi built specifically for international travellers — which means we plan around jet lag, flight connections, unfamiliar currency, and all the small logistics that a local trip simply doesn’t need to think about.
This page walks you through exactly what a well-planned Jaipur city tour package looks like for someone arriving from overseas — from the moment you clear immigration in Delhi to the moment we drop you back at the airport for your onward flight, forts, food, and a few surprises included.
– Private, air-conditioned vehicles — no shared seating, no waiting on other travellers you’ve never met
– Private well English speaking local drivers who can explain local customs, etiquette, and haggling norms as you go
– Direct pick and drop from New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, with a name board to avoid any harassment for finding your tour manager.
– A lighter first-day pace built around jet lag — we won’t rush you straight from the tarmac into a full sightseeing day
– Handpicked stays in Jaipur, as per travelers preference from heritage haveli to modern hotels.
– Help navigating the separate (and noticeably higher) foreigner entry fees at monuments like Amber Fort and City Palace, plus guidance on paying in rupees versus card
The best time for all Jaipur tours from Delhi is from October to March. This is the time because the mornings are cool and the afternoons are pleasant. You can walk around the forts.
In the summer months from April to June it can get very hot. The temperature often goes past 40 degrees Celsius.
The monsoon months bring a kind of beauty to the Aravalli hills around Jaipur. The Jaipur tours are nice during this time because the hills are green and beautiful.
There are a few things that we are asked constantly by guests going on Jaipur city tour package first time.
Currency: India uses the rupee and most large hotels and shops accept cards but small vendors and local markets and tips are cash. ATMs are widely available in Jaipur. We can point you to reliable ones along the route to Jaipur.
Dress code:. Loose and breathable clothing works well year round for Jaipur. Shoulders and knees covered is a default for temples and forts in Jaipur and scarves are handy for both sun protection and modesty requirements at religious sites in Jaipur.
Foreigner entry fees: Most monuments in Jaipur charge an higher entry fee for non Indian nationals. Amber Fort and City Palace in Jaipur both do this for foreign entry fees. It is built into the cost of visiting Jaipur and monuments in Jaipur, not an add on that we control,. We make sure you know the amount before you arrive at the ticket counter in Jaipur.
SIM cards and connectivity: A local prepaid SIM available at Delhi airport with your passport makes navigation and communication far easier than relying on roaming for SIM cards and connectivity in Jaipur.
Tipping: Not mandatory, but appreciated for Tipping. For a day private driver in Jaipur guests commonly tip in the range of ₹300–500 per day for Tipping and a little more for guides at individual sites in Jaipur.
Safety: Jaipur is generally comfortable for tourists, including female travellers in Jaipur though the usual precautions around markets and after dark areas apply, as they would in any busy city, like Jaipur.
There’s no shortage of operators offering the same six landmarks and calling it a Jaipur city tour package. What we try to do differently is build the day around you rather than around a checklist. Our drivers know Jaipur’s back lanes as well as its highways, which means less time stuck near Hawa Mahal at noon and more time actually enjoying the city.
Hotel stays and meals beyond breakfast and monument entry fees are usually kept separate in Jaipur City tour package so you can choose your budget and style. Though we are glad to bundle everything if you would rather not think about Hotel stays and monument entry fees at all.
If you’re arriving on an international flight that lands overnight, we suggest one buffer night in Delhi first so you’re not stepping straight off a 14-hour journey into a road trip. From there, your driver picks you up around 6:00–7:00 AM. Drive to Jaipur will be through one of the express way cruising approximately 175 miles in five hours journey. You can take breakfast stop on some of the well know restaurant in reset areas of Delhi – Jaipur expressway – you will get chance to have some Indian cuisine.
By afternoon you will reach Jaipur , check-in into your hotel take some rest. And then in early evening you can head towards Nahargarh fort.
At Nahargarh fort you should definitely enjoy photographic sunset view of Pick City. Then take dinner with beautiful evening city view from Padao restaurant. This will be one lifetime memory of your Jaipur city tour package. This is the reason why most travellers end up staying longer than planned just watching the city light up below.
After Breakfast you will be picked up by your specialist tour guide, who will take you to Amber Fort, perched on a hill outside the city with the Maota Lake glinting below it. In morning visit you can get chance for optional elephant ride.
After Amber fort you can visit the heart of the Jaipur city tour package and covers the city itself. Where we start at the City Palace, still in one of the part of Royal Family resides and other is open for tourists, where courtyards and museum wings display everything from royal costumes to an oversized pair of silver urns that reportedly carried Ganga water to England for a coronation.
Next door is Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II. It looks more like abstract sculpture than science at first glance, but the sundial here is accurate to within a couple of seconds — a detail that tends to surprise people more than any fort does.
We will make a stop at Hawa Mahal, which is also known as the Palace of Winds. The Palace of Winds is really beautiful. It is better to take pictures of the Palace of Winds from across the street. From there, we move into the markets — Johari Bazaar for jewellery, Bapu Bazaar for textiles and juttis, and smaller lanes for block-printed fabric and blue pottery. This is where a Jaipur city tour package really earns its keep, because our drivers know which shops sell fixed-price, authentic work and which are aimed purely at tour buses.
For lunch we will usually have a thali. We can have dal baati churma if we want something.. We can have a lighter Rajasthani vegetarian spread.
The last day is easy going. We will see what time your flight is. Then we can decide what to do. If you have a flight we can just go back to Delhi after we eat breakfast.. We can visit one more place, like the Albert Hall Museum or a local place that makes textiles.
We will drive back to Delhi on the road we came on. We will stop to eat lunch, about halfway through the trip. We plan the timing backwards from your flight, so if you’re flying out of Delhi in the evening, we build in extra buffer time for traffic near the airport. You’re dropped directly at your terminal, and that’s where our part of the trip ends — though most guests are already asking us about Agra by this point.
If three days in Jaipur is not enough you can easily add more. This works with a day trip to Agra from Delhi.
You can do a 5-day trip that includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Culture Driver India offers both options. We use the private vehicle and approach, for international travellers for every tour. They will take care of everything so you do not need to change operators or replan anything.
You can extend your Jaipur city tour package without any hassle.
Jaipur doesn't need embellishment. Its forts, palaces, and bazaars have drawn travellers for centuries, and a well-planned Jaipur city tour package lets you experience all of it without the guesswork. The question is simply how you want the journey to feel.
Culture Driver India designs private Jaipur tours from Delhi for travellers who want it done right: comfortable transport, expert drivers, honest timing, and a route built around you rather than a fixed checklist.
